1. Service Overview
Stockupfresh provides a professional sourcing and delivery service for fresh food ingredients, fresh fruits, and water from local markets in Enugu (including Ogbete, Aria, New Market, Kenyatta, and others). By using our WhatsApp interface or website, you agree to these terms.
2. The “Picky Shopper” Guarantee & Quality
- Expert Selection: We act as your personal assistant. Our shoppers are trained to select the highest quality produce available at the time of your order.
- Subjectivity of “Fresh”: While we strive for perfection, “freshness” in a local market setting can be subjective. We guarantee that all items are inspected for visible defects, rot, or bruising before purchase.
- Substitution Policy: If a specific requested item (e.g., a specific brand of vegetable oil or a particular cut of meat) is unavailable, we will contact you via WhatsApp. If you do not respond within 5 minutes, we will either skip the item or provide the closest high-quality alternative.
3. Pricing, Haggling, and Payments
- Estimated vs. Final Total: Due to the fluctuating nature of Enugu’s local markets, the initial price provided is an estimate. The final price will be confirmed once the shopper has secured the items.
- Service Fees: A flat-rate delivery and sourcing fee applies to every order. This fee is non-refundable once your shopping assistant has entered the market.
- Payment Terms: * For new customers, we require a 100% commitment deposit before shopping begins.
- For returning customers, the balance is due immediately upon delivery via Cash, OPay, Moniepoint, or Bank Transfer.
4. Delivery & Logistics
- The 60-Minute Goal: We aim for delivery within 60 minutes of order confirmation. However, Stockupfresh is not liable for delays caused by extreme traffic (e.g., Holy Ghost/Old Park gridlock), fuel scarcity, or heavy rain.
- Recipient Availability: If our rider arrives and cannot reach you by phone or at your gate within 10 minutes, the rider will proceed to the next delivery. A re-delivery fee will apply.
5. Perishables & Returns
- Instant Inspection: You are required to inspect all fresh items (meat, fish, vegetables, fruits) at the point of delivery.
- Returns: Due to the perishable nature of the goods, we cannot accept returns once the rider has left your premises. If an item is found to be substandard at the moment of delivery, we will provide an immediate credit or a replacement.
6. Limitation of Liability
Stockupfresh is a sourcing and delivery service. We are not the original producers of the food. We are not liable for any illness, allergic reactions, or issues arising from the consumption of the food items, provided we have handled them with standard hygiene protocols during transit.
